Breaking Bad AECOOO at CURT

627,959 square feet of BIM in 15 Minutes

View Recording of March 2, 2018 Webinar
An interactive session at the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) Annual Conference in Chandler, Arizona on 14 February 2018 provided industry leading owners compelling reasons to use web-based, open standards to visualize all of their assets. Visualizing assets in planning, design, construction, commissioning and operation provides benefits that were clearly evident in the interactive session that included live BIM creation.

In 15 minutes over 627,959 square feet of program requirements were submitted during an interactive portion of Kimon Onuma’s presentation “Breaking Bad AECOO Stovepipes.”

In one of the clearest, most concise presentations on the value of applying successful open standards and web business processes to the building industry, Mr. Onuma definitively makes the case for using practices proven by large individual owners. When applied across the entire building industry, this approach can drive transformative benefits and dramatically improve the “broken” productivity of the building industry.

A follow-up 30 minute webinar on March 2, 2018 will present analytics about the Building Information Models generated during the event. Understanding the rich amount of decision making assistance available from a simple 15-minute demonstration will make the case for applying more detailed processes on real projects.
